Education and/or experience with process design, process modelling/simulation, multiphase flow, green energy processes, software development, physics/analytics-based digital applications, project management of digital solution projects, digital ecosystems, etc. will fit well with BPT business.

I work with several process aspects within design, verification, control, flow assurance and process safety. Using both dynamic and steady state process simulators, such as HYSYS and UniSim. BPT has very competent workers with high technology skills. The company is innovative and has ability to see the need for services in the future and readjusts accordingly. It is a company in motion. The working days are varied, and you constantly meet new tasks and gain new knowledge. Challenges I see is that the “world” is often not ready to adapt some of the advanced technologies when BPT is.
During my studies I realized that process simulations is fun and challenging. I have been employed by BPT as a process/flow assurance engineer since I graduated in 2012. BPT is an interesting place to be for anyone interested in the crossroads between traditional oil & gas and the rapid development within digitalization that is taking place. At BPT you will be given a high degree of freedom to perform your work and also continuously learn new things. You will also be supported by highly skilled senior personnel that will share their knowledge if you have any questions.

My first experience with BPT was a summer job a year before I finished my degree, they needed someone to demonstrate a digital solution for a potential customer in South Korea. After some days of training and getting to learn the concept and solution, I flew over to Busan and demonstrated the simulator. My interest was caught from then, so I applied for a job after finishing up my degree. I enjoy the spirit of “we can solve this” and trying to do it in new ways, smarter than before. I think BPT will remain the de-facto “go-to-place” for customers to solve complex process problems.
